On September 30th, Ladies Who Launch Toronto is sponsoring the daily Challenge team www.dailychallenge.org and participating in Pay It Backward Day:
Pay It Backward Day (Sept 30th):
On September 30th, we are partnering with Second Cup and Silk Soy Beverage to host our second ever Pay It Backward Day in support of SickKids Hospital. Essentially, on the day of the event, people may visit any of the 170+ participating Second Cup locations throughout Ontario and offer to buy the order for the person behind them in line. Each time this happens, $5 will be donated to SickKids Hospital! The last PIB event in April ended up getting substantial media coverage (over 4.5 million media impressions & 3rd most talked about topic on Twitter.com)! The group was able to break a world record and it was really an amazing event. And, as you can imagine with an additional 172 new PIB locations this time around our event will be significantly bigger and better. Were hoping for 10 million media impressions - and with 2.5 mil secured through Media Sponsorship via Metro News we are well on our way
