Have you ever said something so ridiculous that it changed your life forever? That's how Lisa Denvir came to join Ladies Who Launch.

Lisa knew it was time to change her life. Past time. Personally, professionally, she was so tired of feeling stuck, she didn't care where the change came from, so long as it did. Which was why she talked a friend into attending the LWL BYOB event. 

It didn't long to realize just how many of the vibrant, interesting women at the event had attended LWLs Incubator Intensive Workshop and were now actively moving their projects forward. She ached to be one of them again. 
 
Although Lisa had worked with small companies and multinationals alike, she never found her niche working for anyone else. I'm a lousy employee but a first rate supplier, she freely admits.

In her 20s, with next to no post secondary education, Lisa wrote her first novel and ran a multi-million dollar film company. At 30, she launched Canada's first infomercial network and became a pioneer in Canada's direct response TV industry, winning scads of international awards for her work. But over the years, her creative solitude had been replaced by stress, loneliness and isolation. And when she thought of what it would take to juggle a new venture with her nutty workload with its crazy deadlines,  Lisa turned to her friend and wailed, I don't have time to be successful! 

It was a most un-Lisa-like thought. But one that led her to join the LWL's Incubator Intensive workshop, where, instead of a business, she decided to launch the next chapter of her life. With the help of 9 amazing women she learned that isolation is the enemy of happiness and creativity. And that doing things the hard way does not earn you any extra points.  

Today, Lisa's beta testing Tipples, her interactive wine tasting company, and is thrilled to be facilitating Ladies Who Launch workshops. Her disarming wit and refreshingly candid approach will get you on track; help you see the big picture without losing sight of the details; and, while she can't guarantee you won't make mistakes, she does promise to help you develop the clarity, the skills and the confidence to overcome them.
