Have you ever had one of those moments? You know the ones that leave you breathless, scared, anxious, excited and sometimes even a little angry? Well that's how Kim felt when her best friend had the nerve to ask, So what DO you want?  Getting hit in the face with a hockey stick would have been less painful. Why? Because the sad truth was that Kim didn't have a clue what she wanted.  She had the intelligence; the skills, the talent and the drive needed to make a change, but lacked the confidence and the direction.  In a nutshell she was stuck and had no idea how to get unstuck.  
So, once the shock wore off, she caught her breath ditched the misplaced anger and found herself along with her friend in one of the Ladies Who Launch Incubator Intensive Workshops.

Over the course of 4 weeks Kim was gifted with the friendship and help of some incredible women all with different experiences and strengths but each bringing with her a genuine willingness to help, a fresh perspective and a boat load of enthusiasm.  It was during the second week that Kim's dilemma was spelled out with four simple words:  You're looking for permission!  It was true, Kim needed to give herself permission to take that next step.  In a flash, she knew what she wanted:  to build a successful business, to be recognized for her strengths and be rewarded for her skills. 

Over her almost  20 year career, she's been a writer, producer, creative director and production manager for any number of television commercials, infomercials and corporate video productions.  In fact, somewhere, at this very minute, chances are a production she's worked on is airing somewhere in the world. As part of the various marketing and production teams shes worked with, Kim's helped her clients build internationally recognizable brands, launch their products and make billions of dollars. Now it's her turn.  
In the summer of 2009, Kim made the jump from her 8-year stint as Creative Director at a Toronto based DRTV agency to become General Manager of Distillery Post.   But that was and is just the beginning, in the months to come shell be launching her newest venture Distilled Creative a creative services company specializing in conceiving and executing conversational communication tools and strategies that inform, entertain, motivate and inspire but more importantly that start conversations.
