Co-creator and founder, Jennifer Alexander launched The Firehouse Brewing Company in 2003 in an effort to build a permanent firefighter widow and orphan fund. In 2007 massive growth made it necessary to re-locate and build a larger 68,000 square-foot facility in the heart of San Diego, the #1 beer town in the US. Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), ranked the Company’s top two beers the 4th and 6th top selling new craft beers in supermarkets across the nation in 2008. The same year Firehouse American Pale Ale was also rated “best beer in San Diego” by San Diego CityBeat readers choice awards. There she led a team of 35+ sales and marketing employees and launched distribution across the US into 8 states with 56 wholesalers, including retail chains such as; Costco, Sam’s Club, Whole Foods, Henry’s, Beverages & More, Vons, and Albertsons.

After seven successful years of co-management, Jennifer moved on to start her latest venture, Empowering Creators. Designed to work with entrepreneurs by developing a creative brief to clearly identify a niche target and create a promotional campaign that engages followers with personal touch and creates brand recognition. 

Jennifer is also the Executive Director for Ladies Who Launch, a women’s networking organization that connects like minded women through an online and in-person community, events, and workshops. As the facilitator for the Fresh Entrepreneur and Incubator Workshops, Jennifer empowers women to launch their ideas and take existing businesses to the next level.

As an active participant in the community, Jennifer has been recognized by several organizations including; TWIN Honoree YMCA, Women Who Mean Business San Diego Business Journal, NAWBO Business Woman of the Year Nominee and Jennifer was also invited to be a commissioner for the San Diego Police Historical Association.
