This is an open meeting for women in the Portland area. Join us for a lively dialogue with two of Portland's small business experts: Brandie Kajino, Technology Consultant with SohoSolutionist.com and Susan Rich, Professional Writer with RichWriting.
Brandie will talk about at least 5 business apps that women can use to get organized and ready to engage in social media.
Susan will talk about how to write for today’s most popular social media sites, and how to resonate with an invisible audience.
The first speaker is, Susan Rich, whom writes and edits, then writes some more. She has published more than 2,000 articles, that’s about 1 million words in print. As the owner of RichWriting, she is the invisible voice behind website copy, ghost blogs, media scripts, and sales letters. Susan is also a public speaker, and creator of the Write it Rich! series: That’s where she teaches entrepreneurs how to write marketing copy that grabs attention and drives sales.
The second speaker, is Technology Consultant and SOHO Solutionist, Brandie Kajino. Brandie will touch on this panel of issues related to implementing technology into your business and life:
There are lots of shiny online tools to use for business. The problem is, you have to learn how to use them. Sure, you could search the Internet or ask a busy friend. You might feel helpless, and frustrated with all the “jargon” it takes to even know how to begin. Words like “widget”, “auto-responder” and “CSS” are like a foreign language, but come with the territory when learning to use these tools.
(Insert frustrated growl and stomach pains here… )
