Lauren Fales is a current Columbia University student and a proud intern with Ladies Who Launch!  Lauren is featured in the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival in a film she holds close to her heart, Maria My Love, in memory of her mother.  More information can be found at www.mariamylove.com

Lauren hosts a group for women called The Daughter House.  It is a community designed for women who have lost a parent or have nontraditional families.  She hopes to expand the concept in order to make The Daughter House more accessible to women all over the world, perhaps through a book or other media.  She is excited to incubate this idea this spring.
