I can't decide what bothers me more about my obsession: The fact that it's for kids (and I love it for myself) or the fact that it’s "Pottery Barn" (a chain when I usually try to support locally women-owned businesses over chains whenever possible). So far, here's what I've collected: Two shaggy green rugs (one for me and one for my eight-year-old daughter), four green desk chairs (with wheels and unattached "hip factor" arms), one shaggy "furlicious" beanbag (which I've mindfully stationed in my bathroom to turn it into a loungey space) and one super mod "butterfly" chair (as a gift for my daughter's birthday but with a huge urge to purchase two more for my office). Okay, so if you're looking to add a little modern chic to your physical space and your resources for "adult" furniture are limited, you may want to seriously consider this - well, this and a child's "large" Skort from Target, yet another lingering obsession - teen clothes cool enough and "made to fit" well enough for style-conscious adults.
