Victoria Bailey of Brentwood, TN is now the owner of BRAS (Breast Research Awareness & Support), an exciting new franchise specializing in a screening process for women utilizing thermography and breast education. I completed extensive training and have received the DITI Certification for Clinical Thermographers. I attended the American College of Clinical Thermology with the designation of Clinical Thermographer and also became a member of the professional organization, ACCT for Thermography.
Breast thermography is a fifteen minute, non-invasive test. It is a valuable procedure to alert your doctor to changes that indicate early stage breast disease. The benefit of breast thermography is that it offers the opportunity for earlier detection of breast disease not possible through breast self-exams, doctor examination, or mammography alone. This screening is now available through BRAS along with educational materials to help women and men be more proactive in their breast health. Once the screening is completed, a team of thirty-seven medical doctors with specialized training in thermography, evaluate the results. The results are presented to the client as a report which may be shared with their personal physician.
I have spent the past thirty years in the long-term care industry with the last twelve as the owner/operator of a highly successful retirement community in the Bedford County area. Making the decision to embark on a new career path after watching her best friend go through the painful journey of breast cancer, she knew her future career path would include better health options for women. Breast cancer awareness and womens health and wellness issues became the natural choice. When I found there was franchise availability through BRAS, I wanted to get involved.
I am very excited to bring the BRAS Franchise concept to the Williamson/Davidson county areas. I am available to make presentations on prevention and breast health issues to your group or organization.
