Stella Grizont, founder of WOOPAAH, is on a mission to help people lead their most creative, exciting, and meaningful lives. Having spent nine years in brand strategy, product innovation, and the start-up world, Grizont was quite frankly fed-up watching peoples potential go untapped. She knew the root of untapped potential wasnt about following a 10-step program, improving skill level, time, or even money - it was in generating positivity. She followed this hunch all the way to the University of Pennsylvania, where she was one of the first 200 people to earn a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and apply it in order to help individuals and companies flourish. From here, WOOPAAH was born.
Stella regularly speaks to universities and organizations such as MIT, NYU, Columbia University, The Learning Annex, MediaBistro, and the Center for Communication about how to launch your biggest dreams. She is a Small Business Correspondent for MSNBC and has been featured on The Today Show, Fox, Reuters, Yahoo News, and other media channels for her expertise in entrepreneurship and personal development. For the past six years she has been dedicated to supporting over 1,100 women entrepreneurs through her company, Ladies Who Launch, in New York City. She has organized and taught over 300 workshops and events, including global conferences with 750+ attendees.
In addition to WOOPAAH and Ladies Who Launch, Stella is also Partner at new-breed communication agency, Living Breathing, where she consults for brands such as American Express, Nintendo, NBC Universal, Saks Fifth Avenue, Four Seasons, and Sothebys. She has been published in iMedia and quoted in AdAge for her keen insights on cultural and consumer trends.
Stella graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University where she serves on the Alumnae Leadership Development committee. You can catch her insights on living life plus at www.positivelystella.com.
