I am dreaming of working with small-to-medium sized businesses and events doing On Site Seated Massage several times a month, helping them deal with stress in a therapeutic and enjoyable environment. I am looking forward to adding a fundraising aspect as well as having Diva Parties several times a month as well! Get together, feel great & raise money all at the same time!

I absolutely love doing massage therapy! I enjoy watching the clients' faces after they've gotten what needed relief from. I absolutely love doing massage therapy! I enjoy watching the clients' faces after they've gotten what needed relief from. The looks I get when I ask if they have a laptop/ desktop, or are right/left-handed are priceless! I like to work with clients that have never had a massage before; they ask a lot of questions! I am glad that they do; it helps me keep my skills sharp, and it helps me teach them as to why the muscles hurt the way they do, and exercises that will help them feel better. I enjoy doing sports massage as well as trigger point therapy, and since I have a massage table and a massage chair, relief isnt too far off. On Site events are a favorite of mine, because I don't enjoy having to wait for work to come to me; I want to take an active role in the community.

I am truly inspired by Gadabout Day Spas in AZ. I watched a profile on the company on Small Business School, on PBS. As I was learning about an optimum working environment, I became inspired to have a company that believed in the employees to the point that the employees 'walked through fire' for the company. I may not aspire to have a spa right this second, but I would love to be the type of leader that employees were excited to work for. I can definitely say that Pam Wingate-McNair is a role model.

Cooking and gardening are my current loves, when I am not working. Chinese food is fast becoming a favorite. Desserts will always be close to my heart, although I am learning that Ill be changing a few ingredients to become healthier.

Since I've turned 41 this year, I've taken to being more active. I did 3 5Ks, and a 1 Miler last year, up from doing a single 5K the year before. I now hang my race numbers on my wall, to remind me that there is nothing to be afraid of - just go ahead and do it!
