Hi everyone.
I want to introduce myself. I am Kathy McShane, a businesswoman, wife, mom, and entrepreneur and the director of of Ladies Who Launch in Connecticut.
I am thrilled to say that I work with over 300 women to help them to launch and grow their business. Over the last year, I have worked with women through my Mastermind Program, Incubator Program, One-On-One to help them to move their business forward. In addition, I have had Mika Brezenski, Lisa Oz and Kristin van Ogtrop come and talk at our events. I have also run events where my Platinum Members
have been the guest speakers. This has resulted in my ladies meeting new women and also getting them exposure for their product or service.
I bring 25 years of marketing and product/brand development expertise to the Ladies Who Launch organization. I have run businesses for major financial institutions as well as my own, so I know the issues you face, and, more importantly, I know how to address and overcome them.
I look forward to helping you.
Kind regards
Kathy McShane

LWL is a national organization with branches in more than 50 cities in the U.S. and Canada dedicated to turning women into successful entrepreneurs. It provides support, training, financial and creative resources, and valuable connections to help women put their business ideas into action.
The Ladies Who Launch group of Fairfield and New Haven counties has more than 300 women who take advantage of LWL resources to help execute their business plans and grow existing businesses.
More than a successful entrepreneur, Ms. McShane is a committed community leader. She serves on the board of directors of the Bank of New Canaan and the Norwalk Hospital Foundation. She is also co-chair of Norwalk Hospital’s Circle of Caring. Additionally, she runs positive psychology workshops throughout Fairfield County and created the non-profit “Exceptional Woman Series,” a program to recognize women leaders in Fairfield County. She is an adjunct professor at New York University.
“I am determined to provide my ladies with the resources, motivation and guidance that they need to move their business to the next level. I am a big believer in colaboration and accountability,” said Ms. McShane. “Many women who are trying to launch their own businesses are still employed in other jobs, or juggling family with part-time or full-time work, so they need to jump-start their businesses so they can hit the ground running.
“Ms. McShane is also looking at innovative ways to reach out to special groups such as women in the military - who are often not on anyone’s radar - for helping them to develop as entrepreneurs.
“Every day, I am excited about meeting and working with the innovative and energized women who are members of Ladies Who Launch. My goal is to help them to make a difference.” said Ms. McShane.
