"In a world full of people, only some want to fly, isn't that crazy?" You may know these lyrics from Seal. If something, anything is holding you back and you want to fly, even if you don't know what it is, I can help you take off! As a hypnotherapist and the market director of Ladies Who Launch New York City and New Jersey, I have worked with nearly a thousand women to explore, clarify and achieve their entrepreneurial and personal dreams. A life-long fascination with the mind prompted me to launch compassion couture, a t-shirt company that aimed to motivate and inspire the world through the power of its positive messages. Throughout my 7 years at LWL, I constantly pondered why some people seemed to soar in business and in life while others seemed to go round and round in a holding pattern. Ultimately, I discovered that while positive messages were inspiring, they weren't always enough. I discovered that hypnosis and the science behind it could create profound and rapid transformation and healing in people that were ready and willing. My past professional background includes working in executive management, sales, and marketing at companies such as Bloomingdale's, Starbucks Coffee Company, and Tribune Interactive. I also co-authored the best-selling cult classic, The BAP Handbook: The Official Guide to the Black American Princess (Random House). I've been featured on Good Morning America, Fox News (in the top 5 markets), NPR, The New York Times, Newsweek, the London Evening Standard and more. I am a grateful and proud graduate of three amazing schools-- Wellesley College, The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and most recently, the Hypnotherapy Academy of America.
