My name is Holly Daniels Christensen and Im a beach lover & jewelry designer based in Boston, MA.

I am creating a keepsake, collectible jewelry line made with beach sand from individual beaches worldwide. Growing up on Cape Cod I have always loved the beach and the memories made there. The distinct, unique quality of different beach sand was introduced to me by Cape Cod artist and best friend, Kellie Quinn. Sand is so unique and many people have such an emotional attachment to their beach. Between the quartzy sand of the Cape, the rocky gray sand of RI & ME, the coral &shell sand from the Caribbeanit is a vast and colorful palette of colors and textures perfect for creating jewelry. I started making the jewelry in 2008 after taking classes at Metalwerx in Waltham, MA. There was such a great response from friends and family that I decided to launch it as a real business on September 28, 2010 (my birthday).

So far we have 3 "collections" designed over the past 3 years which we've had great success with.

I am working toward a wholesale line that can be sold to coastal boutiques this summer.
