I left home on the day of my 18th birthday with just $150 dollars to my name that I got from selling my vanity bedroom set which my mother told me was mine to take when I left home. Being from a Hispanic family and being the baby and the only girl I knew my departure would not be easy so I told no one that I planned to leave that day. I found a boarding room that day which was $75 a week and I needed to pay a $75 deposit. That was all I had on hand. I had to find a job to pay for the next weeks rent right away and walked 2.6 miles just under an hour to get to the local labor pool.
I left home on that day knowing that I was going to make it without the help of my parents because I knew that the universe was set up to provide us what we needed. I didn't have a doubt. I had already witnessed evidence of it in my younger years.
My life has had many adventures. A spent a year singing jazz in New York City at Green St. Cafe in Soho and other clubs while working during the day. Something had to give. A few years after giving up on singing for my sanity, I married; that occurred while in my late twenties and after various relationships. I met and married and subsequently divorced my ex-husband within a span of five years. That marriage brought me two wonderful boys, one of which gave me the greatest challenges and lessons over the span of his life with me from kindergarten to now twenty-one. As he was diagnosed as bi-polar after many other diagnosis which he is now clearly showing were not accurate because he's home and off meds and doing fine for several months now.
Entwined in and out of those adventures were times when I did great work on myself so I could withstand the tests of parenting such a child. I voraciously read self-help and metaphysical books before and after I left home. During those years I managed to learn life coaching skills and proved to be a natural life coach. I served as a life coach from the time that life coaching first emerged on the horizon and continued to do so while working in Corporate America all these years.
It was in 2009, after having gone through the lay-offs and in again, out again of Corporate America that the Dragonflies came to me. I was unemployed and tired of the corporate climate. I began asking the universe to just show me what I was to do in this world before I left it. I had left home knowing I had a purpose and here I was seemingly yet to live up to it. Up to then, I had experienced glimpses of it. I had successfully applied all I had learned about the law of attraction in many ways throughout the years and knew that it worked well when you were clear and focused. Yet, I didnt know how I was going to become this great woman that I knew I was destined to be.
So, the dragonflies came to bring me a message that while I was sharing my wisdom with many, it was time to do it in a bigger way. It was time for me to create formal programs from what I already truly knew about the law of attraction in order to provide clarity on a topic that was escaping so many. I founded, Dancing Dragonflies Wisdom, LLC. and have been delivering seminars, workshops and weekend retreats with as many as were willing to participate.
In 2010, I met Baeth Davis and had a hand analysis done. This helped bring clarity to my purpose and after participating in her Life Purpose Blueprint Program, I embarked on creating a program that was given to me through meditation and prayer.
The Manifesting IT Mentor (MIM) Program allows me to truly help people apply the Law of Attraction to their life in a powerful way as it lasts six months and allows them to connect with me in a few ways to get direction as things come up.
I look forward to continuing to grow my business and to expanding my reach to as many as the universe will send my way.
Growing my business and serving as many as I can is an adventure I want to be on for the rest of my life.
