Daily LaunchTip September 12, 2008

From Maria Elliott, Ladies Who Launch Incubator Leader, Santa Barbara, CA

"I can’t think of an industry where people aren’t a part of the growth. Business is about people and relationships, whether with clients, customers, employees, suppliers, funders, tech people, the UPS guy, etc. It takes a village to become a success. So today, watch what happens when you take a genuine interest in others, and not when you need something from them. Ask what they do when they’re not working, ask about their family, find a common interest. Laugh together! It’s a much more fun and easier approach to business. When you see people as people and not as cogs in a machine, I think that’s a solid base from which to launch anything to success."

Ladies Who Launch is asking you … what do you think of Maria’s tip? Let everyone know in the Comments section below!
