I have had an entrepreneurial spirit for as long as I could remember. I never was satisfied working for anyone else. I started with greeting cards and flower seeds as a kid; Avon as a teen; Indercoverwear; Amway; Quixtar; Mannitech; Carlson Craft; Soul Purpose. I started my own ventures in 1999 - Destined For Greatness Enterprises (workshops and seminars), and in March 2009 I opened a Bridal, Formal and Designerwear Boutique, DeBorah's Bridal Boutique and More.

I am now in my late 40's (time does goe fast, and waits for no one!) I am looking for financing to expand my boutique into what I envision it to be. my challenge is finding someone to finance a new business that does not have a steady cash flow yet... if anyone know of such financing, or grants, or such please let me know!
Thanks

I had a terrific career and life then an accident cost me over $700k, and as a single woman wiped me out. i won a grant to the UCLA Writing Program/film studies, which I completed with a 4.2 GPA, and my upscale woman's novel 'French Heart.' Then I shattered my foot, which required 6-months in a cast and on crutches, I had the book professionally edited, the market/and publishing industry crashed, and my brother's still unbelievable suicide just about killed me, too.

‘French Heart’ is glamorous, romantic and suspenseful with a social conscious and a spirit to change the world. http://www.suzannedecornelia.com/

I am seeking investors of $10K for 2.3% equity. With $12M goal in sales, investor ROI would be approximately $275K. For detailed plans please email me. Thank you.

My career path is a spiritual one. From legal secretary, to 29 years and counting as a grief specialist, published author by Sarah Ban Breathnach's Simple Abundance Press in my 61st year last October and now, well I'm a marketing maven. I'm grateful for it all.

Never allow age to stop you, my friends, let it light your fire. If you have written a book my best tip is buy Penny C. Sansevieri's books, particularly, Red Hot Internet Publicity. If you are hurting from a loss buy mine, When Every Day Matters: A Mother's Memoir on Love, Loss and Life. It will help you to find hope again, I promise.

I started a blog/ web site 2 years ago at the age of 58. No income as yet, but I am chalking up all the time, energy & money spent to e-educating myself. Luckily I have a daughter that uses social networking in her job. I am picking her brain constantly. Lots to learn. I would love to be part of any generating income brainstorming group. http://www.helensreads.com
