I have had an entrepreneurial spirit for as long as I could remember. I never was satisfied working for anyone else. I started with greeting cards and flower seeds as a kid; Avon as a teen; Indercoverwear; Amway; Quixtar; Mannitech; Carlson Craft; Soul Purpose. I started my own ventures in 1999 – Destined For Greatness Enterprises (workshops and seminars), and in March 2009 I opened a Bridal, Formal and Designerwear Boutique, DeBorah’s Bridal Boutique and More.

I am now in my late 40’s (time does goe fast, and waits for no one!) I am looking for financing to expand my boutique into what I envision it to be. my challenge is finding someone to finance a new business that does not have a steady cash flow yet… if anyone know of such financing, or grants, or such please let me know!

I had a terrific career and life then an accident cost me over $700k, and as a single woman wiped me out. i won a grant to the UCLA Writing Program/film studies, which I completed with a 4.2 GPA, and my upscale woman’s novel ‘French Heart.’ Then I shattered my foot, which required 6-months in a cast and on crutches, I had the book professionally edited, the market/and publishing industry crashed, and my brother’s still unbelievable suicide just about killed me, too.
