LA LIVE HI-FIVE

Ladies Who Launch turned the business-event world on it’s ear last Saturday

with the Los Angeles LIVE event. I’ve been to so many networking/business events

where everyone’s in a power suit or eating fruit and cheese off a paper plate in a hotel

ball room, but rarely do you enter a room with streaming daylight, inspirational speakers with know-how as well as charisma, and a population of women who pair Prada with denim, pant suit with passion. There was room for every kind of launcher in that room - from those just dreaming of what to do next to others who in that moment took back their dream and said “if she can do it, I can do it.” There were established businesses and experts with bonified legends like Jane Wurwand who started Dermalogica (and who captivates a crowd like few others) seated next to recent college grads seated next to women who had felt stuck for years…until that day.

The event continues to prove that there is a different way, an alternative approach to launching. We don’t have to sit around dimly lit conference rooms or feel isolated in basement home-offices. We don’t have to eat packaged ham sandwiches at the Hilton on a Saturday. We can bring and pass out our business cards in a way that doesn’t feel corny or contrived because context has been given to an event rather than just “hey ladies, time to network.” Ewww! Never! Long live Ladies Who Launch!

Amen Amy! Three of us attended from the AZ Incubator and we had a blast! The beautifully lit facility, the fresh delicious food and beverages and the shopping was fun, fun, fun. Jane Wurwand was incredibly inspirational (I too went to beauty school!) and the Queens of the web were so full of information that we could not take notes fast enough. All of the women (our tribe) that we met could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The event was truly special, yes, long live LWL!

Wow…. have I hit the motherload or what? Never knew there was something like this out there. I just learned about this site recently, so didn’t get to the live event, but someday soon I hope!! If there is any interest in having motivational music incorporated… I’m your girl!! Thank you for the inspiration, information, and innovation. I am following suit by pursuing my passion as well!! THANKS AGAIN!! Your hard work is much appreciated for those of us saying “What do I do now” !!

Hi Amy,
I read the article in the Atlanta Journal titled “Talking about money woes no longer taboo” I found this very interesting and the article is what lead me to Ladies Who Launch’s website. The website is great…I have already signed up and posted an ad. I did want to share with you about an amazing community of giving people on the internet. The Cash Leveraging System is a powerful community designed for all women with little or no computer experience. The wealth potential is determined by your desire to succeed. The website is free and the cost is a gift of $5.00 to 5 people. I completely understand if this is not for you but after reading the article in the paper I was very compelled to write. The website is
