The happiest entrepreneurs I know have an acute ability to set systems and structures in place while still being open to new opportunities and ways of thinking completely different from what they originally had imagined. In other words, a surprise. The truth is, no matter how much we predict, project and forecast, we can never really be certain what will take off, break the mold, have a lasting impact. All we can do is open ourselves up to the possibilities and welcome the surprises when they happen. This is easier said than done of course, but it all begins with a willingness to have an open mind. Cultivating this willingness is a path we can all start on right away!
