From Victoria Colligan, Founder, Ladies Who Launch

Last day to save on this week’s WEBINAR: Make Your Book a Bestseller Webinar.

You are thinking about writing a book, or you have even written one. Do you have any burning questions about what happens next? Our book marketing veteran Cindy Ratzlaff can answer them for you. Don’t forget PROMO CODE: LWLBS. Register NOW!

LaunchTip: You might have to tune in twice and /or listen to this documentary in bits and pieces, but “The Secrets of Water, Its Structural Significance and Mystical Properties” is a (free) and fascinating discourse on the scientific and mystical properties of water, in which a series of experiments and water analyses show that water, in fact, has “memory.” Whether you choose to believe or not that water’s make-up is impacted by aggressive or loving thought patterns which create imprints on its structure, or that two people, separated by worlds of physical distance, can in fact, tune into the same wave, you will find physicist Mu Shikh Jhon’s arguments compelling and at times mind blowing, if not head spinning, in complexity. What can we learn for business and for life? When you accept the possibility that even the use of destructive words can morph the structure of anything containing water, (which is everything), then you open up the possibility for change and transformation in the way you think about your business, treat others around you, and ultimately position yourself for positive wins.

Pay per click

These days when consumers want to find information without hesitation they turn to the internet. According to a Marketing Today™ study, 93.2% of survey participants making a B2B purchase decision said they would research the purchase online. To attract customers, the best marketing/advertising you can do is target those customers and partners that are actively seeking your service and products. Per-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns offer the option to bid on keywords (what your customers are likely to type into a search engine). If you own an organic chocolate shop and sell online, a google adword campaign allows you to bid on keywords like organic chocolate, chocolate gifts, dark chocolate, even Hershey chocolate (with Google’s new policy you can go after your competitor’s brand names!), etc. so those people typing in those keywords will see your promotion and go to a landing page. However, you have to be willing to invest in these campaigns. $50 a month won’t put your business at the top, especially if you are bidding on the keyword “chocolate.” A good investment would be at least $500 for three months. You can track conversions quickly and find out if it is right for your business. Learn more about PPC… and next week tune in for our tip on how to create the most effective landing pages.
