LaunchTip: Sometimes stepping back from intensely focusing on your business for a moment and taking time out to breathe and “smell the tea tree oil” is the best way to position yourself for success. I say “tea tree oil” because I recently had an experience with Kiehl’s Tea Tree Oil Shampoo that was, well, let’s just say, profound. You never know what will ultimately inspire an epiphany or creative awakening about some aspect of your business or life, but when we open up not only our minds but also our senses, we are more likely to have these experiences. Historically, tea tree leaves have been known for their medicinal and antifungal properties, used to heal cuts, burns and infections. Although you hear very little about the impact of its fragrance, for me the scent is what sent me spinning, literally, into a mode of business clarity. When you commit to making launching a carnival of the senses, you create space for more creativity, clarity and growth. If tea tree oil can heal infections on the outside, it certainly can cure what’s ailing us within.
