Daily LaunchTip, March 19, 2009

March 19th, 2009 · 1 Comment

From Victoria Colligan, Founder, Ladies Who Launch

Entrepreneurship facilitates receiving validation outside of our families, loved ones and friends. The truth is that we all need to feel validated and valuable. The problem with relying on the day to day feedback from friends and family is that this feedback is, unfortunately, fickle and inconsistent. Plus it does not lead to a deeper, lasting validation that we are living out our purpose and contributing to the world in some meaningful way. When we start a business, launch a project or fulfill on a passion, we open ourselves up to higher levels of value and the potential to experience an internal shift of energy that can mean the difference between contentment and joy, mediocrity and happiness. If true happiness is a goal for you, then keep pushing that entrepreneurial dream forward, press onward with the discovery of passion and don’t stop until your overall sense of well being has reached that higher plane.
