There are just those times when a girl needs a real phone! For those times, there is VoIp. What I love about Voice-over-IP (internet telephone systems) is that it is cost-effective and it works. Calls are made and received via the internet so if you travel, you can just plug in your router and immediately place long-distance business calls for free (after you pay the hotel broadband access fee). If you don’t travel and just want to lower your business expenses, switching to VoIP will allow you one flat monthly fee for your phone service (usually much less than a traditional phone service) and no extra charges for features like conference calling and voice transfer. I’ve found that VoIP is just less complex which I’m 100% for. No multiple or separate voice and data lines, no extra equipment – just simple.
