Those who specialize in the Law of Attraction espouse that the only way to achieve your dreams is by infusing strong emotion into your vision, which results in guided action towards your goals. According to the Law, the brain cannot distinguish between what is real and what is envisioned when emotion is infused.
For me, the challenge lies not in taking action or knowing what action to take, but in understanding with complete certainty the exact emotion that is required on a goal by goal basis. What I’ve discovered is that the fantasy emotion that many of us apply to big dreams is precisely NOT the emotion required to realize them.
Rather, it is the day to day emotion that we tend to feel around baby-step successes that when applied to the big dream, results in its fulfillment as well. Easier said than done, most of us need to stop fantasizing about the beach house or ski trip; rather, act “as if” you already have it as part of your everyday life routine and try on those feelings instead.
