What great advice!

As the old adage states, "The devil is in the details," and one detail that too many people overlook is a careful review of the "invitation" to the party noted in Victoria's Launch Tip analogy. An invitation to do business with you, or with me, can be in the form of text for the Web, or a press release, cover letter, bio, or marketing/promotional piece.

Prior to the release of your work on line, or to a news outlet or costly printer, have someone with good language skills and editing experience check your important "invitations" for spelling, grammar, and clarity of message. A careful review of your words can save you dollars and despair, and a polished finished page can attract customers to your business.

Great tip! This is the last Monday of January, 2009. The holidays are over, the economy is rough, make a plan.

Thanks Victoria; great way to begin the week.
