Daily LaunchTip, January 12, 2009

January 12th, 2009 · 5 Comments

From Victoria Colligan, Founder and CEO, Ladies Who Launch

We connect with people who make us comfortable. But it’s important to take stock in our relationships now and then because while we love and cherish many people, they are not all necessarily going to help us reach our career goals. Look at your associations. Are they positively affecting your forward movement? If you decide they’re not, being able to recognize this is the first step towards awareness, change, and a more successful business. As an entrepreneur, I have spent many frustrating days and nights assessing my inner circle. And now that I have finally aligned myself both personally and professionally with the “right” people, I will tell you that the feeling is similar to spiritual peace. I truly believe we are all capable of a comfortable existence. If you are riddled with anxiety, stress, and fear on a daily basis, it might be time to change the people surrounding you.
