If you’ve ever watched America’s Funniest Home Videos, or watched your own home videos for that matter, you’ve seen adorable toddlers slip, trip, and topple head over heels only to spring right back up, still smiling, ready for more. Beyond being a hoot to watch, these bouncing babies are an example of exactly the kind of resilience and unsinkable enthusiasm we should all emulate in order to be successful. If you’re down in the dumps, discouraged, or afraid to take a risk, take a tip from a toddler and snap out of it. Fast! No one can do it for you. You’ve got to recognize you’re in a tough spot and rebound. Time is of the essence and the competition will pass you by if you hesitate. Remember – as an entrepreneur and the founder of your own business, you’ve got ultimate decision-making power which means you can move faster than anyone else in your industry. So no matter what happens, keep moving. Adversity is a given in any entrepreneurial venture, but dwell on it and you can kiss success goodbye.
