About The Incubator:

Ideas need support and action in order to grow and thrive. The Incubator was designed to give you and your ideas a perfect growth environment. It's equal parts focus group, resource-sharing space, and supportive community, and then another intangible part that you can't really imagine until you experience it.

The Incubator Intensive Workshop consists of 7 or so other resourceful, inspiring women who each help one another take their projects, businesses, or ideas to a new place. One night a week for four weeks (or mornings, depending on the schedule), under the leadership of a trained Ladies Who Launch facilitator, you will meet with your group, complete homework for yourself and for each other, and find an uncommon bond that exists between women traveling down their own path.

The Incubator is for any woman, with any business or any project. Whether you feel stuck and need to get out of a rut, have hit a plateau in your business, or just want to figure out what's next, the Incubator increases momentum and clarifies your vision.

The Ongoing Incubator gives you daily, weekly, and monthly doses of education, opportunity, and inspiration and so much more.

Our monthly member meetings are one of the benefits of becoming an Ongoing Incubator member. See above for monthly meetings happening all over the Bay Area. Each month we feature inspiring and informative guest speakers and/or opportunities to connect and share resources and movement.

First-time guests are welcome to attend a monthly member meeting for free. It's one of the best ways to check out the energy of this vibrant community firsthand and to decide if you're ready to launch with us!

ABOUT THE SF BAY AREA LEADERS:

Alison Covarrubias - Bay Area Ladies Who Launch Director and SF Incubator Leader

San Francisco is the home to thousands of creative, intelligent, stylish, business-savvy women from a variety of backgrounds who all share a common bond--we love city life and the opportunities it affords.

I have been fortunate to be part of the exciting San Francisco dot-com revolution as an original employee of Salesforce.com, a software company that began as an internet start-up. Salesforce.com is now a public company and a leader in the customer relationship management industry. During my five-plus years at Salesforce.com, I worked with and learned from the best. But I always knew software was not my passion. I wanted more out of my career. I wanted a lifestyle.

Being an entrepreneur enables women to have everything--money, fun, family, style, friends, freedom, and love--all by tapping into our natural abilities to be creative, connect with others, and build lucrative and fulfilling relationships.

My own business, Business Legs, grew out of Ladies Who Launch. Like most women starting out, I had several product and business ideas in my head but after working closely with the women in our group, I saw a need that I could fill in the area of sales and marketing. Business Legs educates women so they can create their own marketing strategy that best suites their unique business.

I am beyond excited to meet with you and help move your projects forward. These are thrilling times. Huge numbers of women have already started their own businesses, and the opportunities are limitless.

If you are a woman on the verge of your own greatness, please join the San Francisco incubator.

Corinne Phipps - Santa Clara/San Jose Incubator Leader

Corinne Phipps will transform your wardrobe from 'drab to fab' and show you how to Renew your Sense of Style. How does she do this? By performing image makeovers and closet audits for women (and men!), Corinne helps her clients rediscover those forgotten wardrobe gems, lose the duds that should have been gone long ago and created a new sense of wardrobe peace.

Corinne was introduced to Ladies Who Launch by her business consultant, Cami Walker of Creative Urge. Inspired, Corinne joined the Silicon Valley Incubator - an experience that changed her life! Out of her love for fashion, coupled with fierce marketing skills and incubating with Ladies Who Launch, Urban Darling Wardrobe Stylists & Closet Audits was born. Corinne's sassy style and passion for her clients can be experienced at her website, www.urbandarling.com.

Thanks to the support she received during the Ladies Who Launch Incubator, Corinne found the courage, inspiration, and renewed drive to push her dream forward. After a few months of attending Ladies Who Launch events, building relationships and forging friendships with other Lady Launchers, Corinne had to do more. She's now looking good in the Ladies Who Launch neighborhood as an Incubator Co-leader.

"Make it happen!" For Corinne, this phrase is a call to action. She believes it's a promise to yourself that you can do anything. And you can!

Jennifer Lee - Oakland Incubator Leader

Jennifer Lee

Jennifer awakens your inner muse and inspires you to do what you love. As a certified coach, artist and yogini, Jennifer combines creativity, personal growth and the mind/body/spirit connection to help successful women, just like you, achieve their goals and reach their greatest potential.

Before pursuing her own passions full-time, she consulted for 10 years at companies like Gap and Accenture where she managed change and coached executives. Starting in 2003, she grew her private coaching practice in her spare time and, in 2006, decided to flee Corporate America after realizing she needed to stop living her own dream on-the-side.

The Incubator came at the perfect time in her transition. She incubated during her final two weeks of working for the man, followed by her first two weeks of being out on her own. But she didn't feel alone since she had her fellow Incubatresses cheering her on! She's now thrilled to bring the magic of Ladies Who Launch to Oakland!

Jennifer holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA and an M.A. in Communication Management from USC's Annenberg School for Communication. She is a CPCC through the Coaches Training Institute, a CTI Quest Circle Coach and a graduate of CTI's year-long leadership program. She is also a certified Ashtanga yoga instructor and leads a "Manifesting Your Dreams" workshop for the San Francisco It's Yoga Teacher Training program. Jennifer is featured in the book "The Girl's Guide to Kicking Your Career in Gear." Her business is Artizen Coaching. She is also the creator of the Right-Brain Business Plan.
