I am self taught and I have been painting since I was a child. I have worked for various designers including Bernard Chaus, Giorgio Armani, and Mario Valentino. My paintings are a reflection of my travels and observations here in the US and Europe. My landscapes & ocean scenes have a tactile quality, and my use of light renders composition seemingly weightless, while I may add bold brushwork adding sensuality. I works in mixed media but mostly in oils. Actually I have no favorites. It all depends on the piece, as well as my mood. I have participated in numerous shows throughout the US.

My Artist Statement:
My paintings celebrate nature & tranquility. I hope that those who views my work will find themselves in that slight moment... being part of it. My landscapes and water scenes are the result of my emotional reaction to the scene as well as my intellectual reaction to our threatened environment. I hope to touch, influence & give pleasure to anyone that views &/or own any of my pieces.
