Some interesting factoids, culled during a recent business trip:
* 67 is the percentage of inventions since WWII that have been created by entrepreneurs.
* 530,000 new businesses were created in 2008.
* Over 50% of companies on the 2009 Fortune 500 were launched during a recession or a bear market.
* 21.9 million is the number of new jobs created by small businesses between 1989 and 2008.
* 55 to 64 is the age group with the highest rate of entrepreneurial activity over the last decade.
* 70% of US registered voters think the health of the economy depends on the success of entrepreneurs.
